Gallo Pinto (rice with beans for breakfast)

Enough for: 6 people

 

Ingredients:

 

3 cups of cooked rice.

2 cups of cooked beans.

1/8 cup of chopped onions.

1/8 cup of chopped cilantro.

2 pieced of mashed garlic.

3 spoons of oil.

 

Process

Heat the oil and fry the onions with the garlic (about 3 minutes). Add the beans and fry them for 5 more minutes. Slowly add the rice and mix at the same time. Continue to mix for an extra 10 minutes and add the cilantro. Lower the heat to minimum and cover the pan for 5 more minutes.
