Rice with Chicken 

Enough for: 2 people

 

 Ingredients:

 

1 1/2  cup of rice.

1/2 cup of "petit-pois".

1/2 cup of well chopped carrots

1/4 cup of chopped cilantro.

1/4 cup of chopped celery.

1/4 cup of chopped onions.

1/4 cup of chopped red pepper.

Salt as you prefer.

1 chicken breast piece.

1 chicken seasoning.

Add spices as you prefer.

2 cups of oil.

 

Process:

First cook the chicken until it is soft and cooked. Cook the "petit-pois" and carrots using water vapor and wait until they are soft but not too much. Make the rice and preheat the oil in a cooking pot. Add the onions, red pepper, and garlic and fry for about 3 minutes and then add the rice and continue to fry for about 3 more minutes (it is recomended to add 2 cups of water for every 1 of rice) - (when you add the wtaer, try to use the same water you used to cook the chicken)

While the rice is cooking, chop the chicken and in another pot we will do the following:

Heat 1 cup of oil

Fry with the rest of the spices and add the chicken (chopped) Do not forget to add the  "petit-pois" and the carrots. Fry for another 3 minutes and add your prefered spices, such as lizano sauce.

Mix everything very well and cover the pot for 5 minutes.

Mix both pots together and cover it for 10-15 minutes, letting it warm with the water vapor.
