TicoShopping.com sends all the
orders directly from Costa Rica to guarantee the freshest products to our
customers. Every order is picked up at our facilities and shipped via air
to the destination country. A small clearing process goes through, but it is hazzle free! You will not even notice the
box shipped from Costa Rica. Our rates are all inclusive, you will not be
charged anything at US or CANADA. Then
packages are delivered by ground right to your door.
Once delivered, the orders would
have traveled thousands of miles, so we apply the best packaging techniques
along with a careful coordination of transit processes to ensure the safest and
quickest service possible.
Some orders may experience a random
“Customs Checking” that could delay the delivery momentarily. Depending on the
destination country (other than USA or Canada), custom´s policies may apply taxes or other fees. These
situations are out of our control.
Transit Times
TicoShopping.com offers different
shipping choices depending on destination and preferred transit times. Once an
order is shipped, the customer receives a tracking number to allow package
follow up. Packages are shipped from Monday to Friday, purchases made during
weekends will be sent the following Monday morning.

Shipping Rates
Lhe
Shipping and Handling rates are based on international shipping fees and customs
clearance, plus the changes on fuel prices. An order´s
shipping cost is determined by the products´ weight and destination country. Our
system will calculate the shipping rates available for your order during the
first steps of “check out”, right after logging in or creating an account (for
address verification purposes).
Restrictions
Our courier company requires a
signature when a package is delivered; therefore it´s our policy NOT to send
orders to PO Boxes.
Some countries have strict laws
regarding the entry of a particular product. If for any reason there´s a problem
with an order we WILL contact the customer as soon as possible to correct the
situation.
When an order needs to be sent as a gift, the box will still carry documentation that states the package´s value, this is a requirement from customs authorities.
Claims ans Returns Policy
At TicoShopping.com we take the
responsibility of shipping all the orders that have been authorized and
processed, it is our policy to guarantee the safe delivery of them.
The company will also contact those clients whose orders
couldn’t be shipped, either for charging or processing problems.
As a quality commitment,
TicoShopping.com will solve immediately any claim caused as a consequence of a
company mistake, and that affects the satisfactory delivery of an order. This
involves any of the following situations:
1) Damaged products, quantity
errors on ordered products, wrong products (ex. Wrong taste or size), lacking of
any ordered product: All this products will be reshipped to complete the order.
2) Orders damaged during transit:
These orders are sent again to our customers as soon as the carrier company
confirms the error, as long as it´s proved that the damage was caused by packing
problems.
3) Lost or delayed orders: Lost
orders are reshipped. If the order was shipped under the PREMIUM shipping method
and it is delayed, the company will resend the items as PREMIUM.
Customers must report any of these
situations to the carrier´s employee
before signing for the “satisfactory delivery” on the tracking guide, and then
contact TicoShopping´s customer service. Therefore, it is the responsibility of
our customers to perform an order check before signing for the delivery. Only in
this way our company will be able to process and solve a claim. Once a customer
signs for a satisfactory delivery we will take no claims.
Any additional taxes charged by
customs at the destiny country is responsibility of the customer, we have no
control on this issue.
Money returns due to a customer´s
cancelation of an order are subject to a non-refundable 10% from the final
charge, for restocking fees and bank charges.
